The impact of Islamic culture and civilization on Spain (Andalusia)
Introduction
Line-Paul, an Oriental English writer, writes:
"Spain was in the hands of Muslims for eight centuries. In this period, the light of civilization illuminated Europe, and the burning plains of this land arose as a result of the efforts of the nation of Fatih ... Among the European countries, science and literature and industry were only spoken in Spain.
During this period, mathematical, philosophical, botanical, historical, philosophical and legislative sciences flourished only in Islamic Spain and concluded. "
"If the rule of the 8th Century Islamic Empire did not exist in Spain, the country would never enter the stage of civilization," writes Dr Martens Muntab, a Oriental Spaniard. At this time, all European countries were captured by ignorance and retardation, except for Muslim Spain. "
Under the rule of Nasser ibn Muhammad ibn Abdullah, known as Abdurrahman III (300 350 AH), the Andalusian economy was so thriving that import and export taxes reached 12,000,000 dinars per year. Interestingly, he came to rule at the age of 22, indicating the presence of ministers and advisers, expert and experienced in government and knowledge and excellent governance.
